Helper of the Fatherless

Today as I looked at this picture of Myra praying with an orphan, I was struck by the tremendous injustice that exists in Africa.  My heart was drawn to a very encouraging Psalm.  Read Psalm 10:14, “But You, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; You consider their grief and take it in hand.  The victims commit themselves to You, YOU are the helper of the fatherless.”  Three Strands believes in helping the fatherless (motherless) and doing all we can to alleviate some of their suffering.
