To provide compassionate, sustainable, comprehensive health care for the people of Haiti.

The physical, spiritual, mental and social needs of the Three Strands’ patients will be met through medicine, consultation, education, and prayer.

To achieve its charitable purposes Three Strands is currently engaged in the following activities in Haiti.

  • Provision of basic medical care
  • Provision of surgical care
  • Provision of dental care
  • Recruiting, training, and equipping volunteers to serve others and share the love of Jesus
  • Providing spiritual consultation and prayer
  • Training Haitian nationals in advanced medical, dental, and surgical techniques

Our primary focus of work has been located in Cap Haitian. You do not have to have medical or dental skills to serve on a Three Strands’ Team.  While we need a good number of medical/dental workers on our teams, people with the following skills should join us: administration, organizational, or communication skills, a heart to pray with and encourage sick people, a willingness to assist our triage or pharmacy team. Photography or videography skills on a “when needed” basis.

Our Cap Haitien Guesthouse

In addition or our full time medical clinic in Cap Haitien, we operate a secure and gated guesthouse that accommodates our short-term medical teams. Other work teams that serve in Cap Haitien and surrounding areas may also reserve our modest, but comfortable and clean guesthouse. Your stay at the Three Strands facility helps to make the medical work of Three Strands more self-sustaining. Click here for details: Guesthouse brochure
